Mood board. This mood board is a great way to begin the creative process and help navigate future branding choices. I will use this as I progress through logo ideas, the style guide, and the development of promotional materials & merchandise. (I do not own these photographs).
Style Guide & Branding. I developed the logo, color palette, and typographic conventions for this summit after a few work-in sessions with the leaders of this event, Isabelle Andrews and Lauren Savo.  I designed this logo to emphasize the inclusivity of this event - the "x" is a featured aspect of the logo, and the color palette strays from what is socially accepted as feminine - and aimed to maintain dynamism in how the logo could be used at the event. This branding communicates the strength, professionalism, and connectivity that both challenge the traditional narratives of womxnhood and represent the many qualities that make womxn+ individuals remarkable.
Preliminary branding work: a moodboard and the branding documentation.
Simple Poster for the Event.
Detailed Event poster for the Womxn's Leadership Summit. Includes a detailed schedule of workshops and lectures for the event.
Poster for CeCe McDonald Event. This poster highlights one of the Womxn's+ Leadership Summit headliners, activist CeCe McDonald.
Promotional posters for the WLS.
Door posters for large events. For CeCe McDonald's talk and Cecily Brumbay's performance, large posters were necessary to label venues. These large posters were created with the intention to maintain simplicity, clarity, and the esteem and influence that these womxn hold. We wanted these posters to both welcome and empower the womxn attending.

The summit is inspired by the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Summit 2017 (hosted by Cindi Leive ‘88), and has so far been made possible through the generous support of the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility, the Center for Innovation and Leadership, the Dean’s Division, the Clinton Global Initiative, Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Development, Women’s Resource Center, and the Office of President Valerie Smith.
